Denim on Denim

Hey guys! Yay for finally being able to post on this thing!

I have gone through h-e-l-l the past month trying to get everything working right and FINALLY it all worked out.

Now onto the fashion! Awhile back if you would suggest the idea of wearing denim on denim I would gasp and have flashbacks of Justin and Britney circa 2001. It was not a look I was very fond of but people change. Now here I am sporting this look all around town *confession: I am a repeat outfit offender and definitely wore this twice last week. It doesn’t count though if you don’t see the same people, right? 😉 I am so obsessed with this look because:

1. It is SO comfy.

2. It is super casual but has a way of making you look put together.

3. You have the chance to go all out with accessories and fun bags to add some color to the outfit.

One of my favorite things to do is take pieces I already have and turn them into something completely different. For example, this Chambray shirt is actually pretty baggy on me and just kind of makes me look like a farmer if I wear it normal (not that there is anything wrong with that, I mean I do have a cow! haha). Since I wanted to actually look like a girl this day and not like I had been rolling around with farm animals all day I simply left the last two buttons undone, folded the excess in the back under, then tied those front pieces. I love how it turned out! This has definitely become one of my go-to looks for spring.

Happy Friday! Hope y’all have an awesome weekend 🙂
